Video of the Day: Super Mario Galaxy Trailer GDC

Ah, above is the themed that I mimiced for the look & feel of the xanga. I really look forward to Super Mario Galaxy.

Hrm...where did I leave off from last time? I don't remember. @.@

Anyway, I moved my hosting service from Filelodge, recently obtained by Firebolt. Filelodge has become inaccessable and I've been hearing complaints about the stability of the uploading process. I never had complications with uploading, but I can't get to my account due to lots of maintanance. So, I did a little bit of research and switched to

It offers pretty much the same thing as Filelodge, but at least I can access it. Unlimited bandwidth rocks!

There's also this neat program that I found out through a seventh-grader's project. Google SketchUp is a tool where you can make 3D pictures. I think making 3D pictures is fun, so I'm trying to give it a shot. Its rather difficult to operate, but then again this is my first time with 3D.

Wow, its such a cool game. You know that a game is good when you don't want to stop and when you know you're having fun and not just playing it for the sake of completing it. Waving the Wii controller is refreshing and it feels second-nature after the first five hours; its as though I was holding a regular controler. The one advantage with the Wii controller is that I'm actually moving, so I feel like I had a little workout rather than wasting my brain away after a really long session. If you have a Wii, this is a really good game that most people should have.

Well, I don't know what else to say at this point.

Song of the Day: Bouken Desho Desho

Wow, its been a really long time since my last post. I wanted to make a XMas theme for my xanga, but I guess I was too busy during Winter Vacation. I probably had some projects or Christmas Parties to finish up.

So what do you guys think of my new theme that I finally got around to. I've actually been experimenting with this kind of theme since January, but they all looked kinda mundane. This format that's on right now is the most exciting out of all the other ones I've created. I kinda wish there wasn't so much black, but oh well. The theme is Super Mario Galaxy, which will be released for the Wii later this year! I can't wait!

Nothing much has been happening lately, though that may be a good thing. The less that happens, the more my grades go up. I envy those who manage to have such an eventful life and get good grades. I wish I could do that without so much effort.

Oh, there was Christmas Party 2006! This year, alot of the people that I invited actually came. I give out invitations, but I know that my chances are slim since they have their own families to celebrate with. However, a whole bunch of them arrived first to the party and left later than my usual guests. It was really interesting to spend more time with school peers rathar than cousins for a change.
The best thing was: All of them knew how to operate all my Nintendo Systems. A friend even gave me functional Super Nintendo controllers this year, so I got to fire up the old SNES to play some old school games with my buddies.

Everyone huddling together for Gamecube (and Nintendo 64) action.

Fun with Poker

Good times playing traditional XMas games first instituted in 2004. (Didio's sweater really stands out)

Their ultimate Super Smash Bros. Melee challenge fulfilled.

Cool. I got to add pictures. A picture is worth a thousand words, after all.

Oh, I'm also done with Dojo of Pain training. I reaped in the reward of a free Rayman: Raving Rabbids for the Wii. I honestly should've stuck with the 3 Red Steel T-shirst; Rayman: Raving Rabbids is only fun until you finish the campaign. It didn't appeal to my family either; they would rather play Wii Sports.
Oh, wait. I didn't tell you that I actually got a Wii on January 2nd, 2007. My Mom bought it out of the blue as a surprise. It was indeed, quite unexpected. That machine really brings my family together; everyone always hangs out to play the Wii together. Its really nice.
A call to all those who own Wiis: lets be friends!

Oh, back on topic: Thanks to all those who helped me out in the Dojo of Pain. I couldn't have gotten what Sensei sent to me without you guys. Arigatoo!

I've also watched alot of different animes through Youtube recently. Its not healthy watching so much. It has become so addicting that I'm downlaoding the soundtracks. Today's Song of the Day is the opening theme of the anime The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.

There's actually alot that has happened, but I'll stop myself here before I make this post more jumbled than it is. It feels kinda nice to make a post after so long.

Video of the Day: Smash My Wii

Well, they've done it since the Ipod. They've smashed yet another system...

Man, I really fell behind in my Dojo of Pain stuff. There were alot of activities that I could've done, but I've been extremely busy lately. I have some crazy presentations to do. There's my Little Buddy's birthday on Monday. Boy Scouts Court of Honor event on Wednesday. And a YARD SALE this weekend at La Palma. Wow....all over the place. Not to mention I hope to repair my Nintendo DS this week.

Oh, and a Happy Birthday to one of my friends also. My friends and I are celebrating this Saturday, so that's really cool. The group contributed $10 each to buy him Guitar Hero, but we bumped into a deal adn we got all both Guitar Hero 1&2 for him. He was like "wow" in a nonchalant way, but I'm sure he couldn't wait to open up the box and install the game when he got home. Its satisfying to be a contributor to something.

In 142 reviews of Zelda: Twilight Princess, has an average percentile score of 96.2%. I'm really excited about this game; so many great reviews. I was initially expecting a 90% but then so much hype came about the game as launch approached I got caught up and thought it would get 100%. I actually got mad at Gamespot for giving it a 88% score.

Expect a fresh new look for the holiday season!

Video of the day: Red Steel Remix trailer

Wow, who knew this video that I submitted at the last second (literally) would be recognized as one of the top videos of the Dojo of Pain. It wasn't first place, but I managed to make my name known on Sensei's blog. Thanks to everyone who supported me by spreading my links and videos that I've created through the Dojo of Pain. Continue to keep spreading the stuff found in gamecubem1.googlepages.com. I put it all in one site so that it would be most convenient for everyone.
The first quarter has ended, and I-am not content with my grades. Sure, its a huge improvement over last year, but it has still not reached my goal (4.0 GPA). I really want to get high grades so that I can earn a Nintendo Wii over Christmas or some other time. My chances are extremely slim to get one over the Dojo of Pain. I really want to get Zelda: Twilight Princess!
That's my christmas list. Wii and Twilight Princess. That one particular game should suffice for a very long time.
